Vibration monitoring
Vibration monitoring according to DIN 4150 and applicable standards.
Pile driving, demolition, traffic and dewatering generate vibrations that can damage nearby buildings. With calibrated vibration sensors we continuously monitor vibration velocity and assess it against applicable standards such as DIN 4150.
Vibrations objectively mapped
Vibration sensors record the peak particle velocity (PPV) in three directions. We place them on critical buildings and foundations to document the impact of works objectively and continuously.
- Continuous measurement of vibration velocity (PPV)
- Assessment against DIN 4150-3 and project-specific limits
- Automatic alarm on exceedance
- Objective evidence in case of damage claims
Protection and evidence
Besides protecting neighbouring structures, vibration monitoring provides objective evidence. Combined with a condition survey, it puts you in a strong position in case of dispute.
Applications
- Pile driving and sheet piling
- Demolition works
- Traffic and rail vibrations
- Dewatering and ground compaction
